Kristin Gore is a new author to me. I read her book, Sweet Jiminy, and have put her on my "keep track of list". She is a great writer - I was caught up in the book from the first page. The story is set in the south and deals with prejudice, an unsolved murder and the niece that comes along for healing and instead is wrapped up in the tragedy of it all. It really did pull me in and kept me engrossed to the very last page. It is tender and well-told with a surprise ending - I love those!!
