Chrissie's Shell by Brooke Keith is a children's book NOT TO MISS! I think this is one I will read over and over to my little ones. It is all about finding your own God-given abilities and worth and not comparing yourselves to others and dwelling on the areas you aren't as strong in. Kids NEED to hear this book - this topic is so worthwhile and will be a springboard to so many more worthwhile conversations! To top it off, Mary Bausman is a wonderful illustrator and gives the animal characters a tenderness that children will love. Share this story with your little ones - they need to see how Chrissie finds her place in the forest - and sees she is just who God made her to be!!
